The Abbaye Saint-Maurice is located on the right bank of the estuary of the Laïta side Finistère, in the town of Clohars-Carnoët, a few kilometers south of the city of Quimperlé. Its is an abbey Cistercian ruins but retains interesting architectural elements in a beautiful natural setting. She also interested naturalist (remarkable trees, bats).
Heavily affected during the Second World War, it was acquired, with its area of 118 hectares, the Coastal Conservancy in 1991
